Yes. Safety comes first. We always check the dealer, the vehicle documents and the vehicle history before taking any step. You never pay for a vehicle we have not checked. We also work with clear agreements and transparent costs — so you never face surprises.
BPM is a Dutch registration tax you pay when an imported car is registered in the Netherlands. The amount depends on CO₂ emissions and the age of the car. Since 2025, fully electric cars are no longer exempt and pay only the fixed base amount. For cars exported from the Netherlands, BPM does not apply. CarPort always calculates the BPM in advance so you know what to expect.
In principle, yes — any car legally registered in an EU member state that meets Dutch requirements can be imported. We always check whether the vehicle is suitable and whether anything could affect the process.
A standard import takes 3 to 6 weeks on average, depending on the country of origin, the availability of documents and RDW scheduling. We keep you personally informed throughout.
Yes. CarPort handles the complete export procedure — from deregistration and export documents to transport to the destination abroad. Whether you are a dealer buying in the Netherlands or a private buyer, we take care of it.
Yes. We inspect vehicles on location anywhere in the Netherlands, independent from the seller. We measure paint thickness, read fault codes and test the battery of electric and hybrid cars. You receive a full PDF report with photos, in English. Ideal when you buy remotely from abroad.
